Throughout our app, Recoup may state the approximate number of points that can be earned for taking a certain action. We may also show you the approximate dollar value of those points when combined with badges for cash out. For instance, you may see a colored pill that says “+100” next to a transaction. This is an approximate number of points you may earn if you take all required steps to earn those points. Points awards are randomized. For instance, you may be asked to rate, create a video review, create a written review, scan a receipts, get a certain number of likes on a video review, share with friends, and other such actions to earn the stated points. Each points opportunity may have several steps to earn the approximated points. All points are pending until such time that they are reviewed by Recoup. All points are accumulated and in a pending state until such time that users also earn badges in order to convert points into a cash payout. Cash payouts have minimum points and badges required to cash out, may have transaction fees for cashing out, and may include setup fees for verifying your identity when you first enroll an eligible bank, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, or other such payment account in order to receive cash payouts.

All applications and user access logs are stored centrally and monitored. Recoup’s platform allows client requests using strong TLS protocols and ciphers. Communication between infrastructure and financial institutions is transmitted over encrypted tunnels.
